Visvim’s Tokyo flagship is as considered as the clothes: calm, minimal, and quietly cool. Little Cloud Coffee is tucked inside, so you can browse and sip all in one place while taking in the beautiful garden off the store’s patio.

Tiny, tightly curated, and very cool. This bookshop focuses on out-of-print and counterculture titles most of which are in Japanese. I picked up a few of my favorite Japanese magazine Popeye’s older issues.

A roadside cart serving up proper Neapolitan‑style margherita pizzas that are consistently good. The owner spent years living in Naples to perfect them and is fluent in Italian. They are looking for a permeant space so google this one before you go.

One of those places I keep going back to. Tucked into a quiet street near Meguro River, it’s small, friendly, and always has great coffee (and dog watching!).

A quiet little gallery that always feels like a hidden find. The shows lean minimalist and tactile like ceramics, textiles, small sculptures. Never too crowded, and always thoughtfully curated.

Technically not in Nakameguro but right next door in Daikanyama and always, always my first stop in Tokyo. A beautifully designed Tsutaya bookstore with a bit of everything: art books, rare magazines, vinyl, and a café to linger in. A quiet favorite for browsing or getting a coffee in the trees.
